Sellick Partnership Ltd are proud to be partnering with a well-established Housing Association to recruit a Repairs and Maintenance Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
About the Role
As a Repairs and Maintenance Supervisor you will manage the trade operatives and be responsible for the operational delivery and commercial viability of the services in the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Be directly responsible for all aspects of developing and supervising the Repairs and Maintenance Operatives.
- Manage the workforce, planning functions, and all associated processes and procedures.
- Liaise with the administration department to ensure the smooth operation of the service.
- Set and monitor operational targets and ensure achievement of performance indicators.
- Assist in managing the service within pre‑agreed cost and time parameters.
- Ensure effective communication with tenant and client representatives.
- Ensure operational systems are updated in a timely fashion and produce accurate management reports.
- Work effectively with other Supervisors to provide consistent management of all operatives and contractors.
About You
- Relevant trade background experience
- At least 3 years experience of supervising/managing Operatives
- Strong communication skills
