An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Paralegal to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Stockport. This is an ideal role for someone with employment law experience who is looking to develop their technical expertise while working alongside an experienced and supportive team on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
The Role
You'll work closely with experienced employment lawyers, providing support across a varied caseload while delivering exceptional service to both business and individual clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting fee earners with a wide range of employment law matters.
- Assisting with Employment Tribunal claims and case preparation.
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence and settlement agreements.
- Managing client enquiries and maintaining regular communication throughout matters.
- Preparing hearing bundles and other case documentation.
- Undertaking legal research and assisting with the progression of files.
- Managing diaries, deadlines and administrative tasks to ensure matters progress efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- At least one year's experience within an employment law team.
- A genuine interest in employment law and career development within the sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience using legal case management systems is advantageous.
