We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Legal Support Assistant to join a busy and friendly Residential Property Department in our clients Shrewsbury office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with residential conveyancing experience, or a strong administrative background, who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional legal environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive conveyancing support to the Residential Property team and play a key role in ensuring matters progress efficiently from instruction through to post-completion. Key responsibilities will include:
- Taking client instructions and opening files
- Submitting property searches
- Assisting clients with completion of forms and documentation
- Supporting the conveyancing process through to completion
- Preparing relevant forms for online submission
- Preparing and submitting applications for registration of title
- Handling post-completion formalities
- Providing excellent client care and administrative support throughout the transaction process
About You
We are looking for an organised, reliable and detail-focused individual who can work efficiently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience within residential conveyancing or legal support
- Alternatively, a strong background in high-level administration
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
