A well-established, Legal 500–ranked law firm is looking to appoint a Solicitor (Newly Qualified to 2 years’ PQE) to join its highly regarded Dispute Resolution team based in Shrewsbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor who is keen to build a long-term career in commercial dispute resolution, working on a broad mix of high-quality matters with the support of an experienced and partner-led team.
The Role
- You will work on a varied and interesting caseload, including:
- Shareholder and company disputes
- Professional negligence claims
- Debt recovery
- Property litigation
- Assisting senior solicitors and partners on complex and high-value litigation
- Building strong relationships with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders
- Developing technical knowledge across commercial and property dispute resolution
- Contributing to business development activities, including networking and thought leadership
Candidate Profile
- Newly Qualified to 2 years’ PQE solicitor
- Commercial dispute resolution experience is advantageous but not essential
- For NQs, at least one litigation seat during training is expected
- Confident, personable and commercially minded
- Strong communication and client-care skills
- Well organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
- Willing to get involved in marketing, networking and business development
- Collaborative attitude with a genuine desire to develop and progress within dispute resolution
