Role: Interim Finance Accounting Lead Location: Sheffield - hybrid working Rates: £40k-£46k Sector: Public Sector Duration: Interim- 6 months+ Sellick Partnership is seeking an Interim Finance Accounting Lead for our client based in Sheffield. Role overview: Support the Accountancy Manager in delivering the organisation's strategic objectives. Prepare draft statutory accounts, fixed asset accounts, and treasury management information Ensure compliance with accounting, treasury management and financial regulations Support audits, grants, voluntary funds and statutory returns Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standing orders Main Responsibilities: Support effective financial management, control and reporting Support annual accounts, year-end processes and external returns Maintain financial controls, policies, procedures and the Chart of Accounts Support capital programme planning and expenditure monitoring Manage and maintain the Fixed Asset Register Support internal and external audits and deputise when required Promote risk management, data protection, equality, health and safety, and continuous improvement Comply with organisational standards, complete required training and undertake other appropriate duties Desirable experience: Public Sector experience Capital experience How to apply: To apply, please submit your CV or contact Adam Rouse in the Sellick Partnership Derby office for a confidential chat.
