Sellick Partnership has a fantastic opportunity to join a property development and management company with offices across the UK. Our client is seeking an ambitious Conveyancing Solicitor ready to take on this exciting challenge of building their Conveyancing legal team.
As the Senior Conveyancing Solicitor, you will be the company’s first legal hire as they look to bring the Conveyancing work in-house. You will be supported by their external counsel as you start to bring the work back in-house, and you will have the opportunity over time to build your Conveyancing legal team internally.
The company has excellent backing from its international Investors and UK Investors and has numerous projects across the UK.
The role would involve a full range of conveyancing matters including commercial units being turned into residential units and sales, buying land to turn into residential use, and general conveyancing sales and purchases. It will include residential leases for their owned properties plus much more.
Responsibilities of the Senior Conveyancing Solicitor:
- Managing a diverse caseload of residential property transactions from start to finish.
- Demonstrating strong technical knowledge and practical experience in residential conveyancing.
- Ensuring client satisfaction by effectively managing expectations and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Working independently while supporting the overall team ethos.
Experience Required of the Senior Conveyancing Solicitor:
- Qualified Solicitor or equivalent with experience in residential conveyancing.
- Proven ability to handle a varied caseload of conveyancing matters.
- Client-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
