Provide effective management and leadership for the Finance Team.
Manage the functions of the Finance Team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, online payments, general ledger, cash holdings, and control accounts.
Maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
Take responsibility for the administration of the finance system.
Implement improvements of the finance system.
Support budget holders in budgetary control and provide user-friendly and timely financial reports for budget holders and management.
Advise senior leaders on key financial matters.
Develop and oversee financial policies and procedures.
Ensure robust and effective financial controls.
Ensure income is maximised for the benefit of the students.
Lead the budget-setting and financial forecasting processes.
Monitor spend against budget in order to inform strategic decisions.
Provide financial management to different schools.
Undertake financial analysis of Schools activities.
Supporting year-end accounting and audit processes.
Take responsibility for the timely and efficient preparation and submission of financial returns to the regulatory bodies.
Ensure timely implementation of recommendations from Audit and Assurance Reports.
