We are seeking a Disclosure Paralegal to join a friendly and forward-thinking public sector organisation in the North East. This is a locum contract to start as soon as possible for a minimum of 3 months, with a view to extend further.
This role involves reviewing and processing sensitive material and media for consideration of disclosure within family court proceedings. This will entail:
- reviewing court orders
- decision making in relation to what can be disclosed
- consideration of redactions required
- considerations in relation to GDPR and data protection
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic paralegal with good attention to detail and prior experience of dealing with disclosure/GDPR matters, ideally within a child protection and family law context. This role is for 37 hours per week and can be worked mostly remotely with only 1 day per week required in the office, after a period of on-site training at the start of the contract.
