Sellick Partnership Ltd is supporting a Supported Housing organisation in the East Midlands to recruit to a Scheme Coordinator on a temporary ongoing basis.
Location: Leicester, Leicestershire
Duration: 3-6 Months Temporary
Rate: £16.93 Umbrella or PAYE equivalent
Hours: Part Time, Monday to Friday 9-1PM
Duties of the Scheme Manager role will include, but is not limited to:
- Providing intensive housing management service at scheme to older residents living in supported scheme living
- Assisting those in sites across bungalows and cat-1
- Facilitating residents on site
- Monitoring the performance of contractors
- Assisting customers to pay bills and claim benefits
- Providing onsite management and supervision of sheltered housing schemes with regard to security, health and safety & maintenance, ensuring that communal areas and scheme office are kept clean, tidy and free from hazards.
- Carrying out statutory and cyclic H&S checks
- Undertaking pre tenancy interviews and accompanied viewings, assessment of housing needs and sign ups to ensure sustainability of tenure for the applicant
- Managing low level ASB working in conjunction with the Housing team
- Minimising arrears, ensuring that the process is understood and agreements for repayment of any debt are made
The successful Scheme Coordinator candidate will have:
- Relevant Supported Housing/ Scheme Coordination experience
- Hold a Basic DBS or able to undertake a satisfactory basic check
- Driving licence
