We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Legal Support Assistant to join a busy and friendly Residential Property Department in our clients Shrewsbury office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with residential conveyancing experience, or a strong administrative background, who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional legal environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive conveyancing support to the Residential Property team and play a key role in ensuring matters progress efficiently from instruction through to post-completion. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking client instructions and opening files
  • Submitting property searches
  • Assisting clients with completion of forms and documentation
  • Supporting the conveyancing process through to completion
  • Preparing relevant forms for online submission
  • Preparing and submitting applications for registration of title
  • Handling post-completion formalities
  • Providing excellent client care and administrative support throughout the transaction process

About You

We are looking for an organised, reliable and detail-focused individual who can work efficiently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within residential conveyancing or legal support
  • Alternatively, a strong background in high-level administration
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Good IT skills and confidence using online systems
  • A professional and friendly telephone manner
  • The ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
