Construction Partner to join its established team in Reading.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Construction Partner or a Senior Associate/Legal Director ready to step into partnership. The role focuses exclusively on non-contentious construction work , with all contentious matters handled by a specialist Disputes team.
The role will include
- Advising on non-contentious construction matters, including JCT, NEC and FIDIC contracts.
- Drafting and negotiating construction documentation, professional appointments and collateral warranties.
- Supporting Real Estate and Corporate teams on complex transactions.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Playing an active role in business development and the continued growth of the team.
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.
The ideal candidate will
- Be an experienced Construction Partner or a Senior Associate/Legal Director ready for the next step.
- Have strong experience in non-contentious construction law.
- Be commercially minded with excellent relationship-building skills.
