Sellick Partnership are supporting a Bristol based client to recruit a Property Partner to lead on technical expertise and strategic support across the Council's operational property estate. This estate covers all assets used to deliver services across the city, and you’ll play a key role in shaping how these assets are managed, improved and utilised.
Daily duties of the Property Partner:
- Act as the strategic link between services and the property team, advising on all aspects of asset management to maximise performance, reduce cost and support effective service delivery.
- Work with the Asset Strategy Manager and service leads to develop service asset management plans, translating organisational priorities into practical property solutions.
- Review, evaluate and implement property options that support efficient and sustainable service delivery.
- Collaborate with public sector partners, voluntary organisations and cross boundary stakeholders to support joined up asset planning and improved service outcomes.
Essential requirements of the Senior Building Surveyor:
- A relevant property qualification and experience delivering proactive estate management within a large organisation.
- Strong negotiation, problem solving and advocacy skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand service needs.
