Probate Practitioner

Part-Time 3 days per week

South London / Surrey area

A Licensed Probate Practitioner is required to join a small close-knit will writing business based in Greater London. The company currently outsources its Probate work and is looking for a Probate Practitioner to assist in bringing this in-house.

The company already has a large will bank and gains many clients through referrals, so there is less pressure on business development.

This is a great opportunity for those seeking a return to work following retirement or around child arrangements, with only 3 days required per week.

As the Probate Practitioner you will:

  • Handle your own mixed caseload of taxable and non-taxable probate matters
  • Work collaboratively with Probate Administrators, who will take initial instruction for you
  • Engage with clients by telephone and provide an excellent customer experience
  • Use a case management system effectively

As the Probate Practitioner you will have:

  • Qualified as a Licensed Probate Practitioner, or equivalent (Qualified Solicitor or CILEx)
  • Experience conducting probate matters in a private practice or in-house setting
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and strong client care skills
