Private Client Solicitor (3-5 PQE)
Sellick Partnership is working with a highly regarded law firm in Manchester, seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join their growing and collaborative team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified or early-career solicitor to gain hands‑on experience across a broad range of private client matters. You'll be joining a supportive environment where you'll work closely with senior lawyers and develop your technical expertise with high‑quality clients.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a varied caseload under supervision, including:
- Drafting wills and lasting powers of attorney
- Probate and estate administration
- Inheritance tax planning and trusts
- Potential exposure to Court of Protection work
- Supporting senior solicitors on complex files
- Providing a high standard of client care and communication
- Assisting with marketing and business development initiatives
- Building strong working relationships with clients and intermediaries
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (3-5 years' PQE) with private client experience
- Strong technical grounding and willingness to learn
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Client-focused, well‑organised, and proactive
- STEP qualification (or interest in pursuing it) is an advantage
