We're currently working with a leading Legal 500 firm based in Oxford that's seeking an exceptional Private Client Partner. This is a standout opportunity for a senior private client law specialist looking to take their career to the next level within a firm known for its excellence, innovation, and supportive culture. This role would involve building up a practice, so it would be a fantastic opportunity for those who want to make something their own.\\n\\nYour responsibilities will include:\\n\\nManage and grow a portfolio of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, providing expert advice on estate planning, wills, trusts, tax, and succession matters.\\nLead and supervise the private client team, providing mentoring, support, and oversight to ensure high standards of legal service and client care.\\n\\nOversee complex matters, including inheritance tax planning, probate and estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, and cross-border issues.\\n\\nDrive business development efforts, building relationships with clients, intermediaries, and referral networks to grow the practice.\\n\\nCollaborate with other departments, such as family, corporate, and property, to deliver holistic advice to clients with multifaceted needs.\\n\\nContribute to the strategic direction of the private client department, including marketing, recruitment, budgeting, and operational planning.\\n\\nEnsure regulatory compliance with SRA and other relevant legal or professional obligations.\\n\\nRepresent the firm at client events, professional forums, and networking opportunities, reinforcing the firm's brand and reputation.\\n\\n The successful candidate:\\n\\nQualified solicitor in England & Wales with 8 + years PQE in private client law.\\nExpertise in a broad range of private client matters, including wills, trusts, probate, tax planning, and estate administration.\\n\\nProven experience advising high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners on complex estate and succession planning.\\n\\nA strong track record of client relationship management and business development.\\n\\nPrevious experience at senior associate, legal director, or partner level within a reputable firm.\\n\\nStrong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and support junior lawyers and staff.\\n\\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of discretion and client care.\\n\\nSolid technical knowledge of inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and trust law.\\n\\nCommercial awareness and a proactive, strategic approach to practice growth.\\n\\nIn exchange, the firm is willing to offer a competitive salary and generous benefits package.\\n\\nApply Now\\n\\nFor more information, contact Faith Kelly at Sellick Partnership, or apply within.\\n\\nSellick Partnership is proud to be an inclusive and accessible recruitment business and we support applications from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances.
