Painter & Decorator
Chesterfield
Full Time | Temporary (3 months initially)
£20-£22 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
Weekly pay
37.5 hours per week
Our client, a well-established social housing provider, is looking for a skilled and reliable Painter & Decorator to join their Property Services / Maintenance Team on an initial 3-month contract.
You will be responsible for ensuring void and tenanted properties are maintained to a high, lettable standard, carrying out planned painting and decorating works across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out planned painting and decorating works within social housing properties

Preparing surfaces, including removing old decorations where required

Applying paint and finishes such as stains, varnish, or lacquer using appropriate tools

Working to health & safety standards at all times

Ensuring properties are completed to a high standard and within timescales
About You:

Proven experience in painting and decorating, ideally within social housing or similar environments

City & Guilds Advanced Craft qualification or equivalent hands-on experience

Full UK driving licence and ability to drive a company vehicle

Reliable, professional, and confident working independently or as part of a team
