Operations Manager Interim and Permanent opportunities available Location – East Midlands Rate – Negotiable depending on experience Sellick Partnership Ltd is working in partnership with one of our clients to assist with the recruitment of an Operations Manager on a temporary ongoing basis (would also consider Operations Managers interested in permanent positions) Job summary for the Operations Manager role: To take responsibility for the operational delivery of the Responsive Repairs and Voids service and the management of the staff and assets engaged in delivering these works. Attend regular tenant panel meetings to provide KPI updates and to deal with any issues in relation to service provision. Have responsibility for the directional lead of the supervisors in their day-to-day operations. Main duties and responsibilities To assist with the development and continuous improvement of the Responsive Repairs and Voids service by ensuring that it meets all service standards, key performance indicators, and targets and demonstrates excellent value for money. To effectively undertake the management of staff within the team and ensure high standards of communication, staff efficiency, discipline, morale, and good public relations, and ensure that staff effectively carry out the duties and responsibilities as stated in their job description. Assist with the development of new procedures and processes and their implementation and monitoring. Identify weaknesses in existing procedures and processes, recommending improvements to ensure the efficient operation of the service provided. To set and monitor key performance indicators and tasks covering the Responsive Repairs and Voids service and take appropriate action to address and rectify performance that is below, or not forecasted to reach target, or required standard. Acknowledge, investigate, and respond to complaints arising from the delivery of the service. Review the service and recommend and implement changes/actions to correct failings and shortcomings in service-wide performance. To effectively monitor/review service-wide demand and predicted future demand on the Responsive Repairs and Voids service and undertake any necessary actions in consultation with the HMM for the successful delivery of all works to achieve target performance levels and service standards. To lead and manage the effective and efficient delivery of void property works, working closely with the Voids Supervisor to ensure all works planning, tracking, and performance management tools are in place and used accordingly. Manage and monitor void contractors and sub-contractors ensuring performance against agreed contract targets.
