Support Worker (Mental Health & Substance Misuse) Nottingham, Nottinghamshire Full time, Temporary - 37.5 Hours £15-18 Hourly
Do you want to engage with vulnerable people and improve their lives? Our client, an organisation offering support services, is looking for a Complex Needs Support Worker to join their team.
Duties of the Complex Needs Support Worker role will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the safety of residents and security of the accommodation is maintained at all times
- Visiting tenants in their properties and shared settings in a safe way
- Providing cover for residents with complex needs such as mental health and drug and alcohol misuse
- Making referrals where necessary
- Aiding them to access employment, education and training courses
- Accurately recording all contact with the client base
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working with vulnerable groups
- Safeguarding knowledge/experience
- Enhanced DBS
