Are you a hands-on maintenance inspector? Have you directly managed trades staff including Carpenters and Plumbers to complete works in domestic properties?
Sellick Partnership LTD are proud to assist a well-known Housing organisation in the Northamptonshire area, in the recruitment of a Voids Surveyor covering Northamptonshire.
The ideal candidate will be a great communicator at all levels, who enjoys working alongside tradespeople to complete works on time and survey properties to ensure effective voids turnaround.
Duties of the Empty Properties Surveyor include:
- Managing a team of around 10-15 Tradespeople to deliver service requirements, including planning and allocating workloads
- Ensuring that properties are repaired to the companies lettable standard and returned to the lettings team ready to let in the shortest time possible
- Conducting pre and post inspections
- Building schedule of rates and WIP
- Monitoring and directly controlling the use of other resources including materials, plant, vehicles, hand-held devices etc
- Operating and maintaining safety management systems in accordance with the requirements of companies Health & Safety policies
As a Voids Surveying candidate, you will have:
- Expert surveying and property knowledge
- Full driving licence (and access to own car)
- SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable, but not essential)
- Housing knowledge (preferred, but not essential)
