A leader in the retail market is looking to hire a Senior Contract Manager as they look to grow within the Wholesale market.
As a Senior Contract Manager, you will be in the Business Management, Governance and Risk team. You will draft and negotiate multi-million pound business customer contracts with their diverse wholesale partners – from independent retailers to large organisations. You will work closely with the sales, proposition, finance and in-house legal teams to make sure the contracts signed reflect the commercial agreements and support the business's goals.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the end-to-end contract management process, working closely with the Head of Business Management, Governance & Risk.
- Draft and negotiate contracts that reflect commercial agreements and meet legal and governance standards.
- Build strong relationships with customers to move contract discussions forward.
- Collaborate with the sales, propositions, finance, legal, and operations colleagues to make sure contracts support the business's wider goals.
- Spot and manage contract risks, and lead on resolving disputes or compliance issues.
- Help to improve the contract management process - shaping templates, terms, and ways of working.
What you’ll bring:
- Significant experience as a Senior Contract Manager in a business sales environment.
- Experience with contract law and lifecycle management.
- The ability to draft and negotiate B2B contracts.
- Good communication and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge in a positive way.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret contract data and spot risks.
The position will offer:
- A competitive salary (up to £80,000).
- Annual Bonus (up to 10%).
- 28 days holiday (rising to 32 with service) plus bank holidays.
