Licensing Partner to join its growing and highly regarded Licensing & Regulatory team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an established Licensing lawyer to join a successful, full-service practice with an excellent reputation and a strong national client base.
The team advises a wide range of clients across the licensing sector, including national retailers, hospitality and leisure businesses, public sector organisations and independent operators , providing specialist advice on a broad range of licensing matters.
The opportunity would suit a senior Licensing lawyer with an established client following and strong technical expertise , who is looking to join a progressive firm and play an important role in the continued growth of the practice.
You will have the opportunity to
- Advise on a broad range of licensing and regulatory matters .
- Act for a diverse portfolio of commercial and public sector clients.
- Handle matters including premises licences, licensing applications, variations, reviews, personal licences and related regulatory issues .
- Represent clients in negotiations, hearings and disputes where required.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Play an active role in business development and growing the Licensing practice .
- Work alongside experienced lawyers across the wider firm on multi-disciplinary matters.
- Contribute to the strategic development and growth of the team.
- The ideal candidate
- We're looking for an experienced
Licensing Solicitor / Partner with a strong track record in licensing law and a genuine interest in developing their practice.
You should have
- Significant experience advising on
Licensing Act 2003 matters.
- Strong technical knowledge across licensing and regulatory work.
- Excellent client management and communication skills.
- A commercial and proactive approach.
- The ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- An established network and/or client following would be highly advantageous.
