The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Support Assistant to join the Furniture Service team on a fixed-term basis. Working within a small, busy team, you will provide administrative and customer support to help deliver an essential furniture service to customers.
Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Support Assistant
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Business Development team.
- Process customer orders and maintain accurate records using internal systems and Microsoft Office.
- Contact customers regarding furniture deliveries, replacements, collections, and other service-related matters
- Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to coordinate service delivery.
- Support compliance, reporting, invoicing, and asset management activities.
- Assist in resolving customer enquiries and providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous administration or business support experience.
- Confident communicating with customers by phone and email.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Housing sector experience is beneficial but not essential.
