A rare and strategic opportunity has arisen for an Employment Partner (or ambitious Senior Associate/Legal Director ready to step up) to join a growing Top 50 national law firm as they launch their new office in Milton Keynes. This is a growth-focused hire with the opportunity to help establish and shape the firm's regional Employment practice. The Role - What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and grow the Employment practice in Milton Keynes, supported by a national network of HR, employment, corporate and dispute resolution specialists.
  • Advise on a wide range of employment matters, including:
  • Employee relations and advisory work for businesses of all sizes
  • TUPE, redundancies, restructuring and workforce planning
  • High-value discrimination, whistleblowing and unfair dismissal claims
  • Executive contracts, bonus disputes, restrictive covenants and senior hire matters
  • Employment tribunal representation and employment-related litigation
  • Develop and manage client relationships, particularly with businesses, HR professionals, corporate boards and senior management.
  • Collaborate with other departments across the firm to maximise cross-referrals and full-service opportunities.
  • Mentor junior lawyers, support recruitment and help build a high-calibre Employment team in the new office.
  • Represent the firm at regional employment events, HR forums and industry networking opportunities.
