Sellick Partnership is recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor to join the Estates team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer looking to step into leadership or further develop their supervisory experience within a large, evolving hospital environment. The organisation offers genuine career progression into Facilities Management, alongside funded training, professional qualifications and degree-level education opportunities.

Duties of the Mechanical Supervisor include:

  • Supervising and supporting a team of mechanical engineers
  • Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance activities
  • Providing technical support across HVAC, plumbing, pipefitting and mechanical systems
  • Ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely and compliantly
  • Managing maintenance records and compliance documentation
  • Supporting plant inspections, servicing and repairs
  • Undertaking AP duties or completing AP training
  • Participating in the on-call rota and supporting the wider estates team

The Mechanical Supervisor will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a Mechanical discipline
  • Background in Plumbing, HVAC, Air Conditioning, Pipefitting or Building Services
  • Previous experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, Senior Engineer or Lead Engineer
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Good IT skills, including Outlook and Microsoft Teams
  • AP experience desirable but not essential
  • Ex-Forces candidates are encouraged to apply
