Sellick Partnership is partnering with a well established organisation to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a permanent, part-time basis.

The responsibilities of the Purchase Ledger Clerk will be:

  • Managing the end-to-end purchase ledger process, ensuring invoices and credit notes are recorded accurately
  • Reviewing and matching supplier invoices against relevant documentation
  • Carrying out supplier statement reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies
  • Supporting payment runs in line with internal controls and approval processes
  • Acting as a key point of contact for supplier queries and working closely with internal teams to resolve issues
  • Assisting with month-end activities, including reporting and accruals
  • Providing wider support to the finance function as required

The ideal candidate for the Purchase Ledger Clerk role will have:

  • Previous experience within a purchase ledger or accounts payable function
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero accounting software
  • A high level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • A sound understanding of VAT and core accounting processes
  • The ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with stakeholders
