We're working with a highly regarded, award-winning law firm that has built its reputation by doing things differently. A firm that continues to grow, attract high-calibre clients, and invest heavily in its people without losing sight of what makes a great place to work.
As the Property Litigation team continues to expand, an opportunity has arisen for an ambitious solicitor to join a thriving practice recognised for its technical expertise, commercial approach and collaborative culture.
The Team
You'll join a specialist Land and Property Dispute Resolution team advising businesses, developers, investors, landlords, occupiers and private individuals across England. The team is known for handling a broad range of contentious property matters, offering lawyers the opportunity to develop genuine expertise across both commercial and residential disputes.
Expect to work on matters including:
- Commercial landlord and tenant disputes
- Lease renewals, dilapidations and break notices
- Restrictive covenants and easements
- Rights of light and boundary disputes
- Trespass and possession claims
- Property-related contractual disputes
- Professional negligence claims involving property professionals
The work is varied, challenging and intellectually rewarding, with support from experienced lawyers who are invested in developing the next generation of specialists. This is not just another caseload. This role offers far more than managing files. You'll build lasting client relationships, take ownership of matters, attend hearings, work closely with counsel and experts, and contribute to the ongoing growth of the team.
Business development isn't reserved for senior lawyers. If you're interested in developing your profile and building your own practice, you'll be encouraged and supported from day one. Equally, if you're looking to deepen your technical expertise, structured training and mentoring are readily available.
Who We're Looking For
You'll ideally have:
- A qualified Solicitor (September qualifiers will be considered too)
- Strong experience in commercial property litigation
- Exposure to landlord and tenant disputes and wider real property matters
- Experience managing your own caseload
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Strong organisational and drafting abilities
- A genuine interest in developing your career within a specialist property disputes team
Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys working collaboratively and wants to be part of a firm that values people as much as performance.
