Are you a motivated Litigation Solicitor looking to develop your career within a highly regarded Commercial Litigation team? We’re working with a firm who're looking for a talented Solicitor (0–2 years PQE, although more experienced candidates are also encouraged to apply) to join a growing Commercial Litigation department. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of civil and commercial disputes, with a particular focus on property-related litigation, within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

This is a varied and fast-paced position where you’ll manage your own caseload while working alongside experienced colleagues across the firm. You’ll provide practical, commercially focused legal advice and represent clients professionally throughout the litigation process.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload of commercial and civil litigation matters, including property disputes
  • Advising clients via phone, email and face-to-face meetings
  • Drafting pleadings, correspondence and legal documentation
  • Preparing matters for court, including liaising with Counsel and meeting court deadlines
  • Representing clients in court where appropriate
  • Ensuring compliance with SRA rules, risk management procedures and internal policies
  • Managing billing, time recording, disbursements and debtors effectively
  • Delegating work appropriately to support efficiency and team development
  • Identifying cross-referral opportunities across the firm
  • Delivering excellent client care at all times

About You

We’re looking for a confident and organised Solicitor who thrives in a busy litigation environment and enjoys building strong client relationships.

You will have:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate
  • 0–2 years PQE (applications from more experienced candidates are welcome)
  • Experience handling your own civil and/or commercial litigation caseload
  • Strong knowledge of litigation law and procedure
  • Excellent drafting and advocacy skills
  • Good understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules and professional conduct obligations
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Confidence using IT systems and legal technology
  • A proactive, flexible and commercial approach

Desirable

  • Experience using case management systems
  • Exposure to property-related disputes
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues
  • Familiarity with complaints handling and client care procedures
