A well-established and highly regarded regional law firm is seeking a Paralegal to join its busy Family Law Department, supporting the Private Law Team from its Newport office. The Role
Working alongside an experienced and friendly Family Law team, you will provide support on a varied caseload of private family matters while assisting fee earners with the day-to-day management of files. Key responsibilities will include:
- Arranging client appointments and meetings
- Managing diaries and schedules
- Liaising with clients, courts and external agencies by telephone and email
- Maintaining and updating case management systems and databases
- Preparing court bundles and supporting documentation
- Providing regular client contact and updates
- Assisting with general file management and administrative duties
- Supporting fee earners throughout the lifecycle of matters
Experience using CCMS would be advantageous, although training can be provided. As the role may involve attending court hearings, meetings and other office locations, access to a car is essential.
