Are you an experienced Housing, Compliance or Property Services professional looking for a role where you can genuinely influence service delivery, compliance standards, and resident outcomes? Sellick Partnership is partnering with a Housing organisation based in the heart of Hertfordshire to recruit to a Property and Compliance Manager to lead the operational delivery of housing management, property compliance, repairs, and asset management across its supported housing portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional who enjoys balancing operational leadership with resident-focused service delivery, ensuring homes remain safe, compliant, and well maintained.
Key Responsibilities of the Property Services Manager involves:
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of housing and property services
- Manage, motivate and develop Property & Housing Officers and Compliance Officers
- Oversee statutory compliance including Gas, Electrical, Fire, Asbestos and Water Hygiene
- Manage contractor performance and service delivery
- Ensure responsive repairs are completed efficiently and cost-effectively
- Oversee tenancy management activities, property inspections and void processes
- Maintain accurate compliance, tenancy and property records within the CRM system
- Support asset management activities, including long-term investment planning
- Monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement
- Build positive relationships with residents and stakeholders
Essential requirements include:
- Experience within housing, supported housing, property management or facilities/property services
- Strong knowledge of property compliance and health & safety requirements
- Experience leading or supervising teams
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing contractors and service standards
It would be desirable if the Property Services Manager has:
- CIH qualification or membership
- IOSH, NEBOSH or other compliance-related accreditation
- Experience using housing management or CRM systems
