Overview of the Modelling Contractor role
Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for a Modelling Contractor to support a London-based insurance organisation on an initial three-month engagement starting in May. The role will focus on the development and integration of pricing models within a new system environment, supporting the build and implementation of modelling capability as part of a wider platform change.
Key responsibilities of the Modelling Contractor will include:
- Developing Radar pricing models from scratch
- Integrating an existing loss cost model into Radar
- Supporting model implementation
- Building and implementing a payload model
- Working closely with pricing and technical teams to support model development and deployment
Required experience for the Modelling Contractor position will include:
- Strong experience developing Radar pricing models
- Proven experience building pricing models from initial build through to implementation
- Experience working within general insurance pricing or actuarial environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work within project teams
