Sellick Partnership are working with a London-based local authority seeking a Housing Lawyer on an interim basis.
About the role:
- The role will be offered on an initial 3-month contract, with potential for this to be extended and can accommodate a hybrid working arrangement.
- The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of local authority statutory duties and substantial, recent experience in the following:
- Judicial reviews
- 204 appeals
- Possession proceedings
- Anti-social behaviour injunctions
- Homelessness
- Advocacy covering injunction hearings
About you:
- You will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with thorough knowledge of civil litigation and housing law, ideally gained from working in local government.
- Candidates with extensive knowledge from the private sector or other public sector organisations may also be considered.
