Sellick Partnership are working with a well-established Higher Education organisation that is seeking an experienced Payroll Pensions Advisor to join their People Services team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to join a supportive team, delivering an accurate, compliant and customer focused payroll and pensions service.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring payroll is processed efficiently, supporting colleagues with complex payroll and pension enquiries, and helping to maintain high service standards across the function.

The responsibilities of the Payroll Pensions Advisor will be:

  • Prepare and validate payroll information ahead of monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide expert guidance on payroll and pension related queries, acting as an escalation point for more complex issues.
  • Administer workplace pension schemes and ensure legislative and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Produce payroll reports and maintain accurate employee records across HR and payroll systems.
  • Support payroll processing through to payment submission.
