Sellick Partnership is supporting a market-leading infrastructure business in the search for a Junior Counsel to join its UK legal team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior real estate solicitor to make a first move in-house, joining a high-performing, close-knit legal team with strong visibility across the business and exposure to high-volume, exciting projects.
The Junior Counsel will be responsible for:
- Managing a high-volume of end-to-end UK real estate transactions
- Drafting and negotiating property documents
- Conducting due diligence and supporting acquisitions across the portfolio
- Handling Land Registry submissions, requisitions, and post-completion processes
- Supporting internal estates and development teams with legal input and updates
- Managing contractual relationships with third-party operators (licensing agreements)
- Advising on day-to-day property issues, including operational and dispute matters
- Supporting wider corporate acquisitions and asset lifecycle management
The Ideal Experience & Skills for the Junior Counsel:
- UK-qualified solicitor with up to 2 years' PQE
- Strong knowledge in commercial real estate (essential)
- Experience with Land Registry processes and requisitions
- Exposure to high-volume transactional work
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
- A "hands-on" mindset with a willingness to learn and develop
