Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for an experienced HR Co-ordinator to join our client based in Hull, working on a hybrid basis for a 12 month fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a HR professional looking for a varied role covering all aspects of human resources within a fast-paced and people-focused environment.

The HR Co-ordinator will work closely with managers and employees across the organisation, providing comprehensive HR support throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently, professionally and in line with

Key responsibilities for the HR Co-ordinator will include;

  • Supporting the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to leaving
  • Supporting recruitment campaigns, interviews, onboarding and pre-employment checks
  • Providing first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
  • Managing HR administration including contracts, variations, employment documentation and record keeping
  • Supporting employee relations cases including absence management, disciplinaries, grievances and performance management
  • Assisting with workforce planning and organisational change activity
  • Maintaining HR systems and ensuring employee data is accurate and compliant
  • Supporting learning and development initiatives and training administration
  • Producing HR reports and workforce data to support decision making
  • Monitoring compliance with employment legislation, policies and procedures
  • Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement activities
  • Supporting wellbeing, engagement and inclusion initiatives across the organisation

The Ideal candidate for the HR Co-ordinator will;

  • Previous experience within a HR generalist role covering a broad range of HR activities
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties
  • Experience of supporting in employee relations matters

The HR Co-ordinator will need to have excellent communication skills and effectively be able to communicate to stakeholders of all levels. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have an impeccable eye for detail and accuracy to ensure all workload is carried out effectively and efficiently. They will also need to able to prioritise their workload and be efficient and effective to meet unpredictable deadlines and deal with conflicting demands, whilst working in a high-pressured environment.
