This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Housing Solicitor to take on greater responsibility and work closely with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities The Housing Solicitor will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and representation across landlord and tenant matters such as: Disrepair matters Tenancy breaches Tenancy Fraud Unlawful occupation Failed succession Possession proceedings (including rent arrears and anti-social behaviour cases) Leasehold matters You will also be responsible for: Managing a paralegal and supporting and assisting in the supervision of junior staff as required Represent clients in court, tribunals, and other legal proceedings Monitor a legal inbox and provide legal advice to clients across the business Ensure accurate time recording and file management in accordance with internal procedures Experience/qualifications required for the Housing Solicitor position Must possess a clean and current Practicing Certificate Proven experience managing a diverse caseload across landlord and tenant matters and knowledge of housing legislation, case law, and the Civil Procedure Rules Demonstrable advocacy experience and strong drafting skills A client-focussed approach Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to providing excellent service What's in it for the successful Housing Solicitor?
