Sellick Partnership are working with a London-based local authority seeking a Housing Lawyer on an interim basis.

About the role:

  • The role will be offered on an initial 3-month contract, with potential for this to be extended and can accommodate a hybrid working arrangement.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of local authority statutory duties and substantial, recent experience in the following:
    • Judicial reviews
    • 204 appeals
    • Possession proceedings
    • Anti-social behaviour injunctions
    • Homelessness
    • Advocacy covering injunction hearings

About you:

  • You will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with thorough knowledge of civil litigation and housing law, ideally gained from working in local government.
  • Candidates with extensive knowledge from the private sector or other public sector organisations may also be considered.
