Sellick Partnership is delighted to partner with a Local Authority on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities Management leader to join as an Interim Head of Facilities Management & Capital Projects.

This is a key strategic leadership position responsible for driving the delivery, governance, compliance, and continuous improvement of Facilities Management services across a diverse property portfolio.

As Head of FM your duties will include

  • Leading and developing the Facilities Management strategy across a complex property portfolio.
  • Providing strategic oversight of FM operations, ensuring effective governance and service delivery.
  • Overseeing property asset maintenance programmes and ensuring buildings are inspected and maintained in line with statutory requirements.
  • Driving compliance across all aspects of property management, health and safety, and building-related legislation.
  • Leading contractor and supplier management.
  • Manage procurement activity relating to FM.
  • Oversee capital projects and lifecycle maintenance to ensure delivery within agreed budgets and timescales.

The successful FM candidate will have

  • Qualifications/ Degree in Facilities Management or related discipline.
  • CIWFM or equivalent professional accreditation.
  • PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification.
