This is a high-profile opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to play a key role in driving commercial performance, leading finance business partnering, and influencing strategic decision-making across a complex manufacturing operation.

The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to reshape how finance supports the wider business, moving from historical reporting towards proactive, insight-led decision-making. You'll lead a team of Finance Business Partners and drive improvements across planning, forecasting, reporting, controls, and business performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Acting as a trusted financial advisor to senior operational and commercial leaders
  • Leading and developing a high-performing Finance Business Partnering team
  • Owning budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
  • Delivering insightful financial reporting, KPI analysis and performance commentary
  • Driving financial control, balance sheet governance and compliance
  • Identifying risks and opportunities across revenue, margin and cost performance
  • Leading finance transformation initiatives, including automation and process improvement
  • Supporting investment appraisal, capital allocation decisions and working capital optimisation
  • Deputising for the Finance Director where required

The Person

We are looking for a commercially minded finance leader with a proven track record within a manufacturing environment.

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
  • Significant senior finance leadership experience
  • Previous experience within manufacturing, engineering, industrial or multi-site operations
  • Strong commercial acumen and business partnering capability
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Proven ability to drive change, process improvement and finance transformation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
