My client, a leading Top 100 law firm is seeking a Corporate Knowledge Lawyer to join its established and highly regarded Corporate team based in Guildford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced corporate lawyer who is looking to move away from fee-earning while remaining closely involved in complex, high-quality corporate work within a collaborative and forward-thinking firm.
As The Knowledge Lawyer you will work closely with partners and senior fee earners to support the Corporate team's technical excellence and knowledge strategy. Key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring legal and market developments across corporate law, including M&A, private equity, reorganisations and governance
- Developing, updating and maintaining precedents, templates and practice notes
- Providing technical support and guidance to corporate fee earners
- Supporting internal training, updates and knowledge-sharing initiatives
- Assisting with risk management, best practice and consistency across the team
- Contributing to client updates and thought leadership where appropriate
I am keen to speak with:
- A qualified solicitor/lawyer with experience in corporate law, 4+ PQE
- Someone who enjoys research, analysis and supporting others
- Previous experience as a Knowledge Lawyer or PSL is beneficial but not essential
