Sellick Partnership Ltd are currently seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join a public sector organisation on an initial 6-8 month contract based in Swansea.
This is a hybrid role, with an expected split of 2-3 days per week on-site, although this may fluctuate depending on operational requirements.
The Role
As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will play a key role in ensuring residential properties meet current fire safety legislation and best practice. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out fire risk assessments across public sector residential dwellings.
- Conducting on-site inspections to identify fire hazards and assess risks.
- Producing clear, comprehensive fire risk assessment reports with practical recommendations.
- Liaising with building managers and key stakeholders to discuss findings and support compliance with fire safety legislation.
- Splitting your time between site-based surveys and office-based administration and report writing.
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 qualification or above in Fire Risk Assessment, Fire Safety or NEBOSH.
- Proven experience carrying out fire risk assessments.
- Strong knowledge of current UK fire safety legislation and guidance.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
- Previous experience within the public sector or residential housing is desirable.
