About the Commercial Contracts Lawyer position:
Sellick Partnership is thrilled to be supporting a Local Authority in Essex with recruitment for a permanent Commercial Contracts Lawyer. Our client is recruiting for a full-time, permanent lawyer to join their friendly and supportive Legal Services team. The successful Commercial Contracts Lawyer will be able to undertake this role on a hybrid working basis, with office attendance required for 2 days per week. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, friendly and forward-thinking Local Authority, who are looking to expand their permanent team.
Responsibilities of the Commercial Contracts Lawyer:
- Managing a varied caseload of contract and procurement matters
- Providing expert legal advice and support with a range of contracts work, including for complex and high-value matters
- Providing procurement advice, and working closely alongside colleagues within the procurement department
Experience required for the Commercial Contracts Lawyer:
- Prior experience gained within Commercial Contracts and procurement law
- Understanding of Local Government law
