Sellick Partnership is pleased to be supporting one of the country's largest utilities companies in their search for a Solicitor (Engineering & Construction) to join them on a permanent basis.
The successful Solicitor will get the chance to work autonomously on a range of high value projects of national importance while also working closely with the wider in-house legal function. The Solicitor will work within a close-knit team, within a larger multi-specialist team. The Solicitor will be able to benefit from flexible working arrangements, but will be required to attend the office based in the South East at least once a week.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified Solicitor with previous in-house experience or an experienced lawyer from practice looking to make the move in-house.
As a Solicitor, your role will include, but is not limited to:
- Dealing with a full remit of non-contentious commercial matters.
- Dealing with complex contracting and contractual matters on a regular basis.
- Advising on the legal ramifications and structuring of a wide range of commercial arrangements and diverse projects.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial contracts and agreements, including the NEC4 suite of contracts.
