Role: Employee Relations Consultant Sector: Private Sector Duration: FTC until March 2027 Location: Kent - Hybrid Salary: £39053 per annum (Pro Rata) Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for an experienced Employee Relations Consultant join our client based in Coventry, this role if offered on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 3 days a week onsite. The Employee Relations Consultant will provide advice, support and coaching to managers on absence management cases, to help embed the new sickness absence policy, processes, toolkits and recording system to ensure robust absence management and a reduction in absence levels. The ideal candidate will provide professional HR advice and support to investigating officers, chairs of hearing and appeals panels across the council on a wide variety of employee relations activities, The duties of the Employee Relations Consultant will include Managing a caseload of sickness absence and ill health cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution Coaching and supporting managers to apply absence management policies confidently, fairly and consistently Providing expert employee relations advice on complex attendance issues and related casework Analysing absence data, identify trends and establish root causes Developing practical action plans and recommendations that improve attendance outcomes Supporting formal processes, investigations, hearings and appeals where required ...
