We are partnering with a forward‑thinking London local authority to appoint an experienced Head of Revenue Accounts to lead its revenue budgeting, monitoring and business partnering function at a critical point in the council's financial planning cycle. This is a high‑profile leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Finance Officer, with responsibility for ensuring a robust, transparent and sustainable approach to revenue financial management across the organisation.
As Head of Revenue Accounts, you will take strategic ownership of the council's Medium‑Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) and annual revenue budget process, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities, statutory requirements and the wider financial environment. You will lead and develop a team of professional accountants, delivering a high‑quality Finance Business Partnering service to revenue services and supporting senior officers and Elected Members with clear, timely and insightful financial advice.
