We are working with an established and forward-thinking firm seeking a Senior Commercial Property Solicitor to join their dynamic team in Reading.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and experienced lawyer to work on a broad range of high-value transactions, contribute to the growth of the department, and play an active role in developing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:

Handling a diverse portfolio of commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold premises

Preparing and negotiating commercial leases, lease extensions, and related agreements such as licences to assign, underlet, or alter
-
Advising both landlords and tenants on asset and portfolio management

Providing property-related input on corporate transactions

Acting on secured lending matters for both lenders and borrowers

Recognising legal and commercial risks and advising clients on appropriate strategies

Liaising confidently with clients, other professionals, and external parties throughout transactions

Supporting business development efforts and contributing to the firm\’s presence in the local commercial market
The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years\’ PQE in commercial property law

Demonstrates a strong track record in managing complex transactions with minimal supervision

Excellent technical skills combined with a commercial and pragmatic outlook

Experienced in developing and nurturing relationships with clients and professional contacts

Well-organised with a meticulous approach and sound judgment
