Sellick Partnership is currently partnered with a specialist insurance organisation within a global group to recruit an Associate Wordings & DA Product Manager on a permanent basis. This is a high-impact product governance role where you will take ownership of ensuring policy wordings and financial promotions are clear, legally robust, and fully compliant with FCA and wider EU regulatory requirements, while also covering delegated authority arrangements with brokers and agents.

This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance professional with strong wordings, regulatory, or product governance experience to step into a visible role with genuine influence over product standards and controls across the business.

The Associate Wordings Manager will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing, drafting, and maintaining insurance policy wordings to ensure legal and regulatory compliance
  • Ensuring financial promotions and marketing materials meet FCA & EU regulatory requirements
  • Working closely with legal, underwriting, and compliance teams to challenge and improve wording standards
  • Supporting oversight of delegated authority arrangements with brokers, MGAs, and coverholders
  • Identifying and correcting wording issues, ensuring consistency across products
  • Managing stakeholder relationships across internal teams and external partners
  • Continuing the development and improvement of wording governance frameworks and processes

The Ideal Experience for the Associate Wordings Manager:

  • 4-5 years' experience in insurance wordings, product compliance, or insurance legal/contracts
  • Strong understanding of FCA regulatory frameworks (ideally including PROD)
  • Experience within general insurance, ideally with exposure to authority/MGA environments
  • Strong attention to detail with a solutions-focused approach
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders & challenge constructively
  • Legal or compliance background within insurance is considered highly desirable
