Our London Local authority client is seeking an experienced Childcare Lawyer to join their team on a locum basis. They are looking for a Childcare Lawyer, ideally with local authority experience to join their friendly but busy team dealing with a variety of childcare matters. They are happy to consider Childcare Lawyers who are looking to work at senior level and assist with the management of the team or to simply carry a caseload.

This is an initial 3-month contract with the view to extend on a rolling basis, the successful childcare lawyer would be expected to attend the office 2-3 days per week. The Childcare Lawyer will hold a caseload of around 10 care cases, DOL's and attend legal planning meetings.

Some prior relevant local authority experience in child protection is desirable for this role, but any legal background is welcome, i.e. private practice or public sector. This is a great opportunity to join this well-respected team and get your foot in the door of local government.
