About the Role:

Sellick Partnership is looking for a Locum Civil Litigation Lawyer to join a highly respected local authority team on a hybrid working basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a competent and friendly team.

Key Responsibilities of a Civil Litigation Lawyer include:

  • Dealing with a caseload of civil litigation matters including:
    • Contractual disputes
    • Claims for compensations (not PI)
    • Claims under the Equality Act 2010
    • Claims under UKGDPR
    • Debt recovery

Desirable Skills and Requirements of a Civil Litigation Lawyer:

  • Strong civil litigation experience and good knowledge of the civil procedure rules
  • Previous experience working in the public sector/local authorities
  • Qualified Solicitor or CILEX qualified with litigation rights
