Building Safety and Compliance Manager

Building Safety & Compliance Manager Up to £500 per day, 3 Months Temporary to Permanent Full Time, Hertfordshire, UK Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an experienced Building Safety & Compliance Manager to join a leading social housing organisation on an interim basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a building safety professional to lead on compliance, assurance and risk management across a varied residential property portfolio, including higher-risk and high-rise residential buildings. Key Responsibilities of Building Safety, Fire and Compliance Manager: Lead the delivery of building and fire safety compliance across residential housing stock Develop and maintain Building Safety Cases and associated assurance processes Oversee the Golden Thread of building safety information and regulatory reporting requirements Manage fire risk assessment programmes and remedial action plans Work closely with residents, contractors, consultants and regulatory bodies to promote a strong safety culture Provide strategic advice on building safety, fire safety and compliance matters Lead and develop a specialist building safety team Monitor compliance performance, safety risks and improvement programmes across the housing portfolio The Successful Building Safety Candidate Will Have Experience managing building safety and fire safety within social housing, local government or a similar residential environment Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Order and associated legislation Experience developing safety case reports and managing higher-risk buildings A construction, surveying, building safety or compliance-related qualification to degree level or equivalent experience Experience managing contractors, consultants and compliance programmesDesirable Experience NEBOSH qualification Knowledge of Northgate, Keystone or similar housing management systems Experience working with Building Safety Regulator requirements and resident engagement strategies.If you feel your experience matches the requirements of this role, please apply or contact Ebony Simpson at Sellick Partnership in the Derby Office for a confidential discussion.
