Strategic Finance Manager opportunity to join an evolving public sector organisation in Bradford. Our client is looking for a Strategic Finance Manager to direct and manage a professional accounting team, overseeing the provision of financial management and accounting leadership to support the organisation's departments and budget holders. Reporting to the Head of Management Accounts, this role will lead a team to provide effective and strategic leadership:
- Prepare long-term financial projections for the department and identify solutions to manage challenging expenditure levels.
- Take responsibility for implementing agreed financial solutions to ensure sustainability.
- Direct and manage a professional accounting team to deliver strategic financial management and leadership.
- Provide challenge and support to the organisation's departments and budget holders to ensure robust financial control and decision-making.
Required skills and experience:
- CCAB Qualified with significant experience in a large public sector
- Experienced in managing teams
- Experienced Finance Business Partner
- Ability to engage, influence and challenge where needed
